viscous boundary

  I want to model Viscous boundary at end of my soil mass. Currently I am using spring elements but that only provides damping along one axis.If I connect springs at the same point of face along 3 directions, solvers shows me a warning saying over constrained ...conflicts.... between boundary conditions. I need to have damping along x,y and z axes.
