Hello everyone,

I have a problem with fluent application opened from the workbench. I have installed ANSYS R32019 student version and it was working properly since yesterday.

I cannot figure out what happened, because I cannot close correctly the fluent application after the end of a simulation. 

Could you help me please?

I am new in this context, sorry if I have omitted some information.

I thought that my project was somehow corrupted, so i tried to create a new one, but the problem persists.

Can you post the screenshot when it hangs ?

Also, does it say 'not responding' in the window or just nothing happen when you click 'exit' or the 'x' button on the top right of window ?

I cannot post a screenshot by now because it has not happened again still. 

However, it is that when I click the 'X' button or I click 'Close Fluent', the program writes the saving files and then absolutely nothing happens, no advises or messages appear.

Hmm, I've never seen such issue. But I'm glad it doesn't happen again.

If you see it next time, take screenshot of your Fluent as well as checking to see if all Fluent related processes (e.g., cx1950.exe, fl1950.exe, fluent.exe, fl_mpi1950.exe) are still running from Windows Task Manager

In the windows task manager in addition to Ansys Workbench, appears cs1950.exe.

So, there was no  fl1950.exe, fluent.exe, or fl_mpi1950.exe running ?

On the Workbench GUI, if you click 'Show Messages' , is there any error message there ?

Can you try stand-alone Fluent a few times to see if you can reproduce the issue ?

Same with me on ANSYS 2020 R2 student edition.nNot only can't exit Fluent, but also workbench too.nIt asked me, Are you sure want to quit when clicking on exit icon. But there was nothing happened afterwardnI can't show the .exe file picture because it isn't happening right nown
