Subscriber Hello,
I am new to ANSYS. I did a check valve problem in ANSYS Fluent in steady state. Before proceeding to time dependent setup I want to save my case and data files.
But when I go to File --> Write I find auto save, start journal and start transcript.
But I have seen that when following this path the earlier versions have the option to write case and data files.
Can anyone help with this? Thank you very much.

Forum ModeratorIf you're using Workbench look under File > Export. There's a slight difference in the menu structure under Workbench, which can confuse if you're not expecting it.Â

SubscriberThank you for your reply. Under workbench however, I only have the option 'Export report'. From that I can only save the html report of the ANSYS file I have been working. Is there a way I can save my case files in fluent setup?
Thank you.

SubscriberIn Workbench? Then drag a Fluent System (it could be Fluid Flow or just Fluent) over onto the Project Schematic. Then under Setup, right-click and select Import Fluid Case.
In Standalone it is just File->Read->Case file
