Subscriberi am doing simulation of water inside a rectangular enclosure with heating from the bottom by enabling turbulent model k-omega sst.
while doing so number of parameters to be assigned before simulation, like those shown above. alpha*_inf, alpha*_inf, turbulent viscosity etc. Shall i proceed with the default values or i need to calculate from the references ?

Ansys EmployeeHi,
Using default values for turbulence model parameters like alpha*_inf, alpha*_inf, turbulent viscosity, turbulent viscosity, etc., is a common starting point in simulations, as these defaults are typically tuned for general applicability. However, whether you should proceed with default values or calculate them specifically depends on the context of your problem and the desired accuracy.
