My simulation Settings and images look like this: the smoothness is stretched out =25

f the smoothness is 0, the detector image looks like this:

How to adjust ?

Dear Subscriber,

It seems your # Analysis Rays = 1e6 and your detector has 1000x1000 = 1e6 pixels. On average, this results in one ray per pixel, which is likely insufficient to produce a smooth result. To improve the smoothness of your results, you can:

• • Increase the number of rays in the source
  • Reduce the number of pixels in the detector
