Is it possible to simulate particles merging and breaking by DPM model?

Hello! I am simulating the oil particle in compressor to see the distribution by DPM model.

I understand that DPM model just calculate the interaction between the particle and the fluid.

But I want to see the particles merging and breaking by trainsient DPM model.

Is it possible? Or should I use UDF to acheive the result I want to see?

      Thank you so much!!

Have a look at the Stochastic Collision and break-up models: DPM Physical Models. Do NOT use DEM collision for this application. You may also want to review the wall film models.

Hello Rob! Nice to see your answer again!!😆

Thank you for your suggestions. I will have a look at those models.

But I am wondering if the Stochastic Collision and break-up models can make paricles merge?🤔

Turn on collision and the break up option should also appear. Don't ask....
