SubscriberDear ANSYS community,
I have a question about eigenvalues of truss structure. I have modeld my brace out of plates, with thicknes of 6,3mm.
Forces are 1N in upper chord where braces are connected. Forces are applied in both side of chord.
I am looking to get buckling forces(eigenvalues) of chords and braceses, but unfortunately it seems like plates are buckling before elements - out of 100 eigenvalue modes there is no clean buckling of brace or chord, every result has somthing like this in it. Upper chord has waves in it.
Could anybody help me to understand, how to get only brace or chord buckling values?
You will be appreciated.
