Can only one input be connected to the output of the device shown below? If I need that output to go to two different input ports how do I accomplish that? I searched the INTERCONNECT library and did not find any electrical MUX, only optical MUX, how do I set up the device so that one output goes to more than one input? If it is true that only one-to-one outputs are possible, I can choose to access two NRZs, do both NRZs generate signals encoded in the same way?

Hi Eva,

Thank you for the post. I would recommend using the "fork" element to split the signal. The fork element doesn't have a signal type, and once it's connected to an electrical port, it will be converted to electrical fork: https://optics.ansys.com/hc/en-us/articles/360036619993-Fork-1xN-FORK-INTERCONNECT-Element.
