Hello, just curious if anybody knows what G-versus-time profile is used in Spectrum Response. Is it a half sine wave? What is the duration?
Thanks!

Hi
We do not have any specifics on that (profiles, acc. mag., durations etc.), as this is a user input just as a load/force is (dir. amd mag., is an input by the user).
Perhaps other engineers/forum members from different inudstries (aerospace, automotive), might be able to chime in here and advice on some of the specifics (e.g., type of acc., and duration used), realated to this type of test from their working experience.
All the best
Erik

OK, thanks. I would think there would have to some profile that Ansys uses, unless a response to a mathematical impulse function is calculated.
