Hi,
I am currently attempting a tutorial provided by Ansys.
Link: https://innovationspace.ansys.com/courses/courses/reviewing-results-validation-and-insight-using-ansys-mechanical/lessons/practice-quiz-and-simulation-exercise-4/quizzes/simulation-exercise-reviewing-results/
After attempting, I only obtain a total deformation of 0.6mm, instead of the answer of 0.21mm. When the control arm is being pulled and pushed to steer the direction, shouldn't the steering knuckle rotate about the x axis, together with the control arm? In addition, to define the remote displacement, I insert a remote point first and relate that to the remote displacement. However, it seems that the remote point does not affect the outcome of the answer, as adding the remote point or removing it, the answer still remains as 0.6mm. Though I am unsure of why. May I clarify these questions with you? Thanks.

Hi
Seems the answer for 0.2 is for str. steel material – not alu. alloy as it says it should be I think :) – let me check more and get back .
