Question about corner cuts for a circular polarization of Patch antenna

Hello everyone, I am new to HFSS and would like to ask the following:

When designing a rectangular patch antenna and cutting the corners to make it circularly polarized, what methods or functions do you use to perform the cutting? Additionally, is there an analytic expression to know approximately how much to cut on each side to get the circular polarization?

      Hi, Kristiyan

The GPS Patch antenna from the Antenna Toolkit in HFSS is a good reference.
The models created with the toolkit are treated as variables, so you can see how to cut corners.

Thank you for the response! Is there a rule of thumb or formula for calculating the dimensions of the cut?
