SubscriberI am Conducting a WIG welding simulation in Transient Thermal to get temperature as a result and getting it approx 1300 degree Celsius which is fine. Now this result is imported as load in Transient Structural to calculate Residual Stress using mechanical boundary condition as fixed support. The result are not upto the mark as I am getting very low stress.Â
Please help -

Ansys EmployeeHi,
Can you please check the material properties defined are uniform for both models?
Thanks,
Deepak

SubscriberYes actually I saw the change of results when I changed the material from default (Structural Steel) to material I neededÂ
Here are the properties of matrials I usedÂ
Material Properties
Please correct where I am wrongÂ
Thank You

Ansys EmployeeValue completely depends on the material properties, please check on data or specs for your material.
