Hello,
&list=PLtt6-ZgUFmMIanrtJppFH9xa_qplbLDoI). I had extracted the line bodies from a solid chassis file and had connected all the gaps between the lines and was about to move further when under the solution tab in Model i noticed an option for inserting a beam tool which contains direct stress, maximum and minimum combined stress. What is exactly meant by these and are these different from von mises stress ?
I was doing an analysis of my space frame chassis as a line body according to a tutorial on chassis analysis by Ansys (the tutorial link -
I also whould like to find the FOS (safety factor) of my design but i cant find an option for it under solution tab when analysing as line bodies. Is there any way to find the FOS (safety factor) in this situvation ?
