SubscriberHi,
I am having some confusions with regards to the use of Cylindrical Support. Do we use the scoped geometry as the cylindrical face of a hole, for instance? Do we use this support whenever there is a cylindrical face? Or what are the circumstances to apply this support? May I clarify that with you and provide some examples? Thank you.Â

Ansys EmployeeHi
See the help manual for more info (just search inside there).
Also this should help:
https://www.mechead.com/boundary-conditions-and-explanations-in-ansys/https://innovationspace.ansys.com/courses/courses/structural-boundary-conditions/lessons/determining-which-support-to-use-lesson-1/
There might be some example in the above post.
As for questions see and learn what this support does in the above course, and that will help you determince based on you analaysis to see if it can be used or not.
All the best
Erik
