Good evening,

I was using Twin Builder 2023R2 (from Ansys Electronics Desktop Student) for its ‘’Battery Wizard’’ function in Toolkit. This allowed me to create an ECM battery cell component.

Since I updated to 2024R2 version, I can’t do it anymore, has there been any change to the product restrictions in the student version?

 

This is the error I get: 

License checkout failure. Please contact technical support and report installation error code Invalid license mode.

Most of the software runs just right (like opening example projects).

I also tried to reinstall it (uninstall, rename old program files to ansys.old and starting installation as administrator), did not work.

Hi Sibor,

Please recreate the issue and go to .ansys folder %temp% .ansys and check *.ANSYSEDT.EXE.242.out file, let me know if any error is shown over there.
