SubscriberHello,
I am trying to produce a structured grid of a somewhat complicated structure (as it consists of multiple materials)
The Blocking worked as intended but when I try to specify the nodes along the first edge, the number of nodes is transferred to other edges as well. Furthermore, some artificial grid-lines are also produced and I do not know why.Â
Other forum posts suggested to permanently delete the VORFN blocks, which did not help.
I deleted and merged some blocks, might this lead to complications?
What are possible fixes for this problem?
Thanks in advance and best regards
Â

Ansys EmployeeHi, if you are using ICEM CFD please check edge to curve and face to surface association. If you are using any other software let me know.Â

SubscriberExactly, I am working with ICEM. So if I have multiple shorter edges and one long along a single curve, like seen for the long vertical green block, I need to split the curve into smaller sections, correct?
Thanks a lot

Ansys EmployeeWhen you split the blocks make sure to split through all. Also, check associations.Â
