Meshing of wavy channel

  As i am trying to mesh the wavy channel, the meshing does not generated according to the option i am giving . I am using face meshing with 50 number of division but resulting mesh generated only 12 number of division what could be the reason behind that?

  You must set the Edge Sizing mesh control Behavior to Hard. The default is Soft.
