Hello,
I'm trying to find a tutorial to walk through simulating a simple wooden ball dropping into water (& air, 2 phase) and then floating, and am having difficulties. I have no difficulty in simulating just 2 phase flow but can't seem to grasp how to include solid body motion of a gravity driven ball drop. I have faultily tried using an overset method, 6dof, etc. but just can't seem to set it up correctly.Â
Any suggestions on tutorials to follow through or help on understanding the setup of a gravity driven ball drop?
Thanks for any help or suggestions! -

There's an example in the Fluent Help Tutorials showing a dropped object, and (I think) a lifeboat example in the videos.Â
