Hello,
Recently when I am performing mechanical analysis of a part through ansys workbench, I would like to import the 3D deformations at various locations on the surface of the part obtained from monitoring into the geometry model as displacement boundary conditions.
But at the moment I don't really know how to accomplish this, I'm not quite sure if it can be done through the apdl command in workbench.
If anyone can give some help I would be very grateful.
Thanks in advance.
Best Regards.
Jack

Hi
Cut boundary/sub-model can be used.
See here for more info on that:
