SubscriberGood day,
I am currently doing a drag simulation of hull in Ansys using 2Dof, MRF method. Ive manage to obtain the Drag and the lift forces, however I have no idea how to define the sinkage height and trim angle. Can anybody teach me how to do it?
Thank you -

Ansys EmployeeHi, you can do say a vertex maximum of your vertical coordinate and monitor the same for the sinkage height. For trim in a 2D case, you can monitor theta_z I think
