Hello. I want to use the Bolt Thread function, but I have some questions. In your requirements it is write " The diameter of the solid model (bolt and nut bodies) should be based on the major diameter (d)". so if I simulate the behaviour of an M10 screw, the diameter of my screw should be 10mm and so should the tapped hole. That's correct. And an another question: In my case, I'm simulating an M10 screw with a pitch of 100. so d2 = D2 = 9.188. and is this value what you call the "Mean Pitch Diameter? Can you confirm this for me? Thnak in adavance for your reply. Philippe.
