Dynamic Mesh Layering – not working

I am simulating the problem below: a moving wall (the right vertical wall) doing a horizontal translation (assigned constant velocity, rigid movement). All the other walls are assumed 'not-deforming'.

I used the Dynamic Mesh in Fluent, with the option 'Layering'. However, the mesh does not deform as expected; I obtain mesh elements very elongated and no new elements are created (as expected).

Coul you plese help me to solve this problem?

      Thank you.

What did you set as a trigger to split the cells (ie add a layer)?
