Modal analysis of liquid retaining structure

      Hi all ! NOOB alert !


      I want to perform a modal analysis of liquid retaining structure. I have modelled a tank with liquid in Static Structural. Fixed the base of tank. Specified bulk modulus and shear modulus of water as property to liquid. But I can't solve the first step with self weight of structure.


      What is the problem ? How can I solve it ?

      There seem to be 5 messages at the bottom. Is there a specific error message in one of them? 


      If not, there should be some information in the solver output as to why the solution failed.

      Hello I have the same problem, where did you model the tank and water volume? Did you execute Modal analysis succesfully?

      I had used modal acoustic solver instead of modal solver. That seemed to do the job.

      Did you do any Pre-Stress in Static Acoustics?
