SubscriberHi all ! NOOB alert !
I want to perform a modal analysis of liquid retaining structure. I have modelled a tank with liquid in Static Structural. Fixed the base of tank. Specified bulk modulus and shear modulus of water as property to liquid. But I can't solve the first step with self weight of structure.
What is the problem ? How can I solve it ?
Thank You.

Ansys EmployeeThere seem to be 5 messages at the bottom. Is there a specific error message in one of them?Â
If not, there should be some information in the solver output as to why the solution failed.

SubscriberHello I have the same problem, where did you model the tank and water volume? Did you execute Modal analysis succesfully?

SubscriberI had used modal acoustic solver instead of modal solver. That seemed to do the job.
Hope it helps.
