SubscriberHello all,
I have a task to analyse the behavior of solid epoxy based resin under biaxial stress in torsion and tension. The material itself is fiber reinforced (aligning in the tension direction) creating anisotropy regarding the combined load. As input I have the stress-strain curves for both uniaxial test and the equivalent stress strain curve, as well as Young's-Modulus and Shear Modulus. I am really having trouble defining the material properties.. Do you have any suggestions? Any tip is helpful, I am really struggeling.
Greetings

Ansys EmployeeHi, maybe you can try using the Orthotropic Elasticity model (Engineering Data > Linear Elastic).
