Yes, wrt the forums; I already posted this on the 'Photonics' forum, and it got closed(twice) as a duplicate of this one, which makes no sense since the other one is in the photonics forum and it's a photonics question. There's also a tab in this website called 'My posts' which for some reason does not display any of the posts I make in the forums (weirdly), but does allow me to post a text-only post to an unknown destination. Thanks for feeding this back to the relevant people!
