SubscriberHello, I am interested in running a simulation in Fluent in which I only solve the energy equation in a solid body (i.e., no fluid flow) with a given internal volumetric heat generation. On one of the boundaries, I would like to implement a time-dependent boundary as follows: If T1
As an extension of this, I would like to do the following: When T reaches T1, apply a given heat flux q into the solid for a given time duration delta_t, and before/after this, apply convective cooling with a given convective coefficient h.
I would greatly appreciate your help in implementing these rather convoluted conditions.Â

Forum ModeratorIt's probably possibly via a UDF, but you may need some scheme commands to change the boundary type. We can't advise to that level via the Community, and it's probably tending towards training or consult over support too: please can you talk to your account manager? Â

SubscriberHello, how do I determine who my account manager is?
