SubscriberI want to model flange waviness as a sinusoidal surface across the surface of a cylinder. I want to be able to do this on discovery but I can't find any option to create the waviness. I have tried modelling on spaceclaim with some success, I have created the surface waviness but I am struggling to integrate the surface with the cylinder. Any advice is appreciated.

Forum ModeratorHello,Â
You can find the same option in Ansys Discovery 2024 R2 in the Design>>Equation>>Customer Curve:

SubscriberThank you for responding. I'm currently using v2023r1 so for some reason the equations aren't working. I encountered another issue when trying to imprint the waviness onto the inclined surface, I couldn't combine the surfaces and subtraction wasn't working either. I don't know if you have any solutions for that.Â
