Hello everyone.
I am solving a piston lift (pipe to pipe) in static analysis, but no matter what I do, the pipe-in-pipe contact always gives "abrubt" and the pipes intersect each other, I changed the stiffness, tried normal Lagrange and much, much more, nothing helps, in the end I set a joint, but the pipes still intersect. Maybe the problem should be transferred to transient?

Hi,
In the second image I do not see the two pipes intersecting. Could you maybe mark the problematic area?
I am not sure changing the to Transient would resolve the issue. Transient is primarily used when you want to account for inertial effects. Is that something you wish to account for in this simulation?
Also, please share the contact definition (contact and target regions, contact setting used etc.). That way other forum users can help you.
