August 17, 2024 at 12:28 amjdidd1 SubscriberDear ANSYS Support Team, I have completed a steady-state thermal-electric conduction simulation and am now attempting to perform a transient analysis. However, I am encountering difficulties with this transition. Despite reviewing various forum posts and suggestions, including the commands and the coupled field transient analysis, I have not been able to resolve the issue. In my steady-state analysis, I applied boundary conditions for voltage and convection to obtain temperature results, which aligned well with theoretical predictions. However, in the coupled field transient analysis, I am unable to find options to set voltage and convection as boundary conditions. Additionally, when I applied the commands in the analysis, the resulting temperature was 23°C, whereas the steady-state result was 60°C. This significant discrepancy is causing concern. Could you please guide how to proceed with setting up the transient simulation? Thank you for your support. Best regards, Jai

August 17, 2024 at 4:12 amjdidd1 SubscriberElectrothermal Simulation of a Fuse: Temperature problemÂbased on this post I came across, where I set the initial temperature to 48°C. However, the results I'm getting show a temperature range of only 48°C to 49°C maximum. According to the expected outcome, the temperature should range from a minimum of 48°C to a maximum of 60°C. Could you please assist me in identifying and resolving the issue? Any insights you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thank you for your support.
