Update License Path to New License Server

  We recently provisioned a new license server and can't figure out how to update the path on 17.2 clients. The clients can no longer see the license server. We can reinstall the application altogether and enter the updated configuration but believe there must be a better way. Has anyone try to do this before?

  Hello Swinchocka,
  
  To change the ANSYS License Server Specification on client machines, go to:
  
  Start->All Programs->ANSYS 17.x(Or version you are using) ->ANSYS Client Licensing
  
  IMPORTANT: Right-Click on Client ANSLIC_ADMIN Utility and Choose “run as administrator”
  
  When the ANSLIC_ADMIN appears, choose: Specify the License Server Machine:
  
  Highlight the Server that is in the list
  
  Click on Edit Selected Server Machine.
  
  Highlight the hostname: SERVER
  
  Type in the hostname of the New License Server: SERVER2
  
  Click OK.
  
  You should now be pointed to the new ANSYS License Server.
  
  *Make Sure that You Right Click on Client ASNLIC_ADMIN Utility and Choose “run as administrator”
