Hello, I have generated a test build file in Additive Prep using the included SLM 280 machine and IN 718 (30μm layer thickness) build strategy, and tried to import the generated .zip file into Additive Print for simulation. However, I am repeatedly getting the error shown below (Discrepency in Layer Count). The correct number of sliced layers for this part is 667, and I am not sure why it is showing the .stl as having 3000 layers. I'd appreciate any advice on how to resolve this error, thank you

Hello,
I am not an expert in this area but please see if the following link helps: 6.5. Using Variable Layer Height (ansys.com)

Hi, thanks for the response! However, it seems this guide is for the Additive Manufacturing module in Mechanical, not the Additive Print application in the Additive Suite

Hi Jack,
Sorry for the delay. Are you getting the error while uploading the build file in Additive Print or while running the model?
Thanks,
