Hello,

*CONSTRAINED_JOIN_* requires that the nodal points within the nodal pairs used to define the joint (1, 2), (3, 4), and (5, 6) should coincide in the initial configuration. Please see Figures 10-16 through 10-22 in Keywords User manual I.
