Hi,
I setup a 3D model with a dynamic mesh: a plate moving normal to a wall of the volume. I am able to preview the motion of the plate but not the deformation of the mesh since the mesh is only display on faces. Please, how can I display the mesh in the volume to be able to view the deformation of the mesh during the plate motion?

Hello Loic,Â
you can create a plane surface (z = constant) that cuts through the middle of your moving plate and display the mesh on this plane when previewing the mesh motion.

Hello Federico,
I'm interest to save the animation of the deforming mesh. In CFD post, i did a iso plane to be able to see the mesh deforming but it is not case. Please how can i do that? -

To save a transient animation of the mesh, you will need to create your animation object prior to running the Fluent simulation.

Thanks Federico!
Please How to play saved animations when opening fluent again?
