SubscriberHi all,
I'm trying to fix some problems on a paper regarding a creep assessment of a 3D cover.
I used Modified Time Hardening for creep evolution and I put in the introduction part of the paper le formulation (the one in ANSYS manual).
Two questions/doubts:
- Someone told me that the creep equation I used mainly describe scalar values but the simulation is 3D. Which is the formulation of Modified Time Hardening for the 3D case? How does the creep flow equation look like in this case?
- I'm trying to consider primary and secondary creep of my plastic material starting from experimental dogbone creep curves: I used Modified Time Hardening but the manual says that it's valid for secondary creep only. If I try to use the Combined Time Hardening, the curve fitting tool doesn't work. Does Modified Time Hardening consider also the primary creep?
Thanks,
Jacopo

SubscriberIn other words, for the first doubt, how can I say that the results of the 3D model are good if I used a creep model obtained by fitting experimental curves with a 1D dogbone?
