nCode Materials and LS-Dyna d3plot

      Hi all.
I imported a d3plot file into nCode to perform a fatigue analysis.
In LS-Dyna I carried out calculations for concrete drilling. I have three materials: the rigid body of the drill, the plastic kinematic body of the attachments on the drill which I analyze, and the concrete material MohrColumb.
      1. When adding a material to nCode, I generate a material, such as nozzles, do I also need to generate a material for concrete? How does nCode understand what material I'm researching?
      2. How to create two or more materials and assign them to geometry bodies? For example, I would like to assign different materials to different drill bits.

      Help please.
In one of the documentation I read that you need to create databases for materials and then attach them to geometry. Help.

I can also create material maps, but how do I attach them to geometry?

Teaching DesignLife fundamentals is beyond the scope of this forum.  Here are some general guidelines, images from the DesignLife help, and screenshots of the UI that be useful.

If none of the nCode material databases contain your materials, you need to use Material Manager to create a material database containing your material.

Using Advanced Edit, you need to set the MaterialAssignmentGroup to identify how to assign the material properties to the correct portions of model.

You need to use Edit Material Mapping under Advanced Edit to map the materials onto the appropriate portions of the model.
