My issue started when i downloaded the zip file from the microsoft edge browser and unzipped it in my E drive and i installed it in my C drive; after a succeddful installation i saw it took an awful storage on my C drive and mere MB's of storage was left on it so i decided to cut and paste the installed file into my E drive.
As the process of moving the file from the C drive to E drive it had completed but the banner popping up saying that the process was complete wasnt showing so i cancelled the process decided to delete the file from C drive; and decided to install it on my E drive but the installation wont take place and a blank banner pops up showing the header "Critical error" i wait but nothing pops and i try to close the tab and a banner saying that instcore.exe has stopped responding.
I tried downloading from the browser again and repeating the same clear steps as instructed multiple times but it still doesn't work

Doing a cut and paste of installed files was a mistake. The correct action would have been to Uninstall Ansys. Try that now, but it may not run because you broke it.
