What is the difference between Fluent and LS-DYNA

I need to simulate a DC electric arc (torch).
So, I need a solution which can handle coupling next physical phenomena:
      Fluid dynamics (including turbulent transport)
Electromagnetic field (joule heating and arc attachment)
Radiative heat transfer in participating media - optically thick plasma
      Chemical reactions

LS-DYNA (as indicated in promo video) can couple all this physics. But Fluent do not couple CFD with electromagnetic fields. What is the best choiсe Fluent of LS-DYNA?

Fluent can be made to couple with EM fields, but it's not trivial at present (check System Coupling documentation for some information).

Do you have the plasma physics, properties and model already worked out?

Dear Rob, thank you for answering.

No, I do not have a working model, I have equations and want to choose the proper software. Where I can find System Coupling documentation if I do not have a license for fluent?

I saw that in last release ansys stated that they coupled fluent and Maxwell do you know something about this?

If you have any of the Ansys solvers you can launch Help and then navigate to another part. If you don't have any software check with IT as it may be available on the campus network; failing that use "Contact Us" on ansys.com from your official email to talk to the local team.

I am aware of some Fluent-Maxwell coupling, and know it's covered in some of the documentation.

Thanks for the answer. You will laugh, but I started with "contact us". And the official representative advised me to go to the forum. The circle is closed. And the second circle is also closed: To buy software you need to find out what its capabilities are. To find out the capabilities, you must first buy it.

More likely cry! My apologies for that.

If pointing them at this thread doesn't work please post your email address into the thread on Monday (ideally around 10am UK time) and I'll chase up. I'll delete your post once I've got it.

I've messaged the account owner, and now chasing that through the system.
