Hi,

Please see if the following explaination helps:

The sentence you're referring to in Ansys Additive Help suggests that when setting up the simulation for additive manufacturing, the density ratio value should be set to 0.6. This value is used from a temperature of 2 Kelvin (2K) up to the liquidus temperature of the material being used. The liquidus temperature is the lowest temperature at which a material is completely liquid. The recommended density ratio value of 0.6 should match the 'powderPackingDensity' parameter in the material configuration file for the simulation. This ensures that the simulation accurately represents the physical behavior of the material during the additive manufacturing process.
