Periodic vs Cyclic vs Symmetric

  Which one should I use for this regen cooled combustion simulation. Cyclic only seemed to repeat it 4 times, and I only got periodic to even show up in fluent one time, and haven't gotten it to work since then

  It depends. Do you expect to see swirl in the system?

  If there's no swirl I'd expect cyclic and symmetric to give much the same result. If there's swirl you'll need cyclic/rotational periodics. Note, if you're only seeing 4 repeats check in the Views panel as you've not set enough copies.
