I'm trying to obtain average velocity values at particular cross sections. This is what my mesh looks like
So the fluid comes in and out as specified on the picture and the black crosses are just there to reinforce that there are walls at these locations. I created an intersecting plane and the features resulting from this procedure can be seen here:
So now what I am trying to do is to obtain a value for the average velocity of each of the circle-like cross-sections (and then plot the values on the same figure). Also, I'd like to make sure that these will not just be arithmetic averages. Is there a way to do so and get mass average and area average results?

Forum ModeratorYou'll need to use iso-clip to break the surface down so there is a separate surface in each channel.Â
There is an easier way: break the model up in the geometry tool so you can label the interior surfaces & report on those.Â
