I am trying to model a torus like structure which inflates using the plume of a rocket engine. I started off by trying to construct this fabric mesh ontop of a rigid platform with a wind tunnel going down into the fabric to simulate the airflow/pressure from the rocket. I just finished adding in all the keyword files for it to run, but nothing happens upon simulation. Any ideas or help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello James,
I can't see how the parts are relative to each other during the inflation. Maybe a hand sketch showing the desired final config with parts all labeled will help.
Below is a simple example to follow. It is defined based on the new S-ALE approach. ALE has a steep learning curve, if you have not taken a class. If you can access ALH (ANSYS Learning Hub), pls find my ALE/S-ALE class there.
Best Regards,
Ian Do
