I often perform analyzes with many objects (more than 1000). Named selection is also very complicated.
So, I have only been working with Fluent grids using Workbench Meshing so far. Named Selection in Fluent Meshing is too difficult and takes a long time. So, I suggest it.
I would like to be able to set all Named selections and Sizing in Workbench Meshing right before creating the grid and then export all this information at once so that it can be set automatically in Fluent Meshing. In other words, please read the *.meshdata file of the Workbench Meshing program in Fluent Meshing and finally select the grid type to proceed with grid creation. -

One option is to use the sizing/group tools in SpaceClaim to add Named Selections based on size/position/something before going to Fluent Meshing. What sort of objects are you trying to split out? Ie can you use one boundary label and then split by region in Fluent?

I can't use spcaeclaim. I can use DM. I can't use spaceclaim's central domain and share topology, which is not supported by DM, is not supported by DM.
I can use sharetopology by DM, so I'll try it for 10 minutes. But I need a time more than a day if I work on spaceclaim. And I do not use named selection on DM after sharetopology because that is too slow. Searching for volume names and hide face function for named selection to volumes is a very time-consuming process, so it's best to use a secure space claim instead.

My suggestion is that once you setup named selections in workbench meshing and then generate surface mesh only. (mesh -> Preview -> surface mesh)
If your surface mesh is generated successfully, export this surface mesh file for Fluent (File > Export > Mesh > Fluent input file)
Now you can read this surface mesh file using Fluent meshing Watertight Geometry Workflow. You can find boundary and cell zones assigned as NS in WB meshing.
Hope this is helpful.Â

Thanks, it's a good idea. Unfortunately the surface mesh process requires all of the volume mesh calculations in Ansys Meshing, so it's a slower process.Â

I will test for it but I think it need a lot of time to make face meshing and maybe even more than make volume meshing on workbench meshing. But this is idea what I didn't think before. And I will reply for my test after. Thank you.
