I am simulating Transient Thermal analysis. I have applied Heat flow of -82 watts and convection of about 40 watt per square meter kelvin. The model is 3d model having coating between two structure model. The coating is made up of shell elements.The 2nd structure model is inside the First structure model and in between them there is a coating. The 2nd structure has a nonlinear material properties. There is a sudden step in enthalpy of that material model but I have adjusted it by reducing 10k from the temp of the starting point of step. The model is simulating perfectly when Thermal conductance is put on program controlled but  when I am applying my value of  Thermal conductance to contact between 2nd structure and coating and as I am changing the value of heat flow it's giving me the error of Solver Engine failed to converge for a non Linear problem. But the value of thermal conductance is imp for my study. The boundary conditions are heat flow at -82 w and convection of 30 w/m2 Kelvin. Does anybody have any solution ?

It could be the default convergence criterion is too small. If that's the case, you can increase it manually in Analysis Settings; Nonlinear Controls; Heat Convergence => On by Specifying --Value or --Tolerance manually.
