SubscriberHello,Â
in Ansys post i can create a stress plot right-clicking on Solution -> Create stress plot.
In the dialog box the software ask me different things:1 - Spot: bot middle top (are this the position on the foil where the stress will be computed? For example on top of the foil)
2 - Component (i can chose s1 s12 s13 s2 s23 s3 sl sll slll. What are these parameters?)Thank you for help!

Ansys EmployeeHi Antonio,
"Spot" refers to the position through the ply thickness where the results will be shown (top, mid, bottom), and "Component" specifies the direction of the stress component across which the stress results are intended to be plotted. For more information, please refer to the Ansys Help document - 2.1.19.3. Solution Plots (ansys.com)Hope this helps!
Regards,
Asitang
