      Hello,

       

      can I use *CONSTRAINED_LAGRANGE_IN_SOLID to constrain beam in solid? will this constrain the beam rotational DOFs to be zeros following the solid?

      knowing that the beam nodes are atop the solid surface and the beam elements are not penetrating the solid

      You may also try *CONSTRAINED_BEAM_IN_SOLID .
