Hello,

lately I have a problem with the Weld function (Prepare - Weld). I can't create a weld and the second time I try to create a weld, SpaceClaim crashes.

Do you know about this problem or do you know the solution?

Hi Lukas, 

Which version of SpaceClaim are you using? 
Can you attach the screenshot demonstrating the weld you are creating? 
I will try this at my end and will let you know.

It still doesn't work in SpaceClaim 2024 R2, crashes.

You can create a spot weld between 2 solids. Weld surface is not possible between 2 solids.

You can weld surface bodies to other surface bodies or to solid faces.

 

Try to create mid-surface first and then select the weld tool.
