Thank you for your reply. I shall try running the simulation again. But I just had a last question.

 

  1. In the research paper I am trying to validate, they mention – “for the motions of roll and pitch, the viscous damping coefficient of the bodies is set as 5% of critical damping”. So I just wanted to know what does this signifiy and where should I enter this value? and how do I calculate the value of critical damping?
