SubscriberHello I'm taking a graduate project about simulation of pzt
To simulate pzt, I'm using ansys static structure, but Unfotunately my ansys is 2020R
through many media I learned how to take pzt. but all of media using above 2021 having 'piezoelectric toolbox...' is there any escape implement pzt in ansys 2020???
From my point of view maybe I have two option
1. Custumizing pzt's property by using 'Custom material Models', Insert all of pzt's property like matrix
2. Using 'Peizoelectric and mems body'
I never know how to using this extension, Can I Implement pzt, If I uses this extension?
Plz give me some hope, even a possibility...

Hi
The act mems extension is not supported and developed any longer.
Use the coupled field static, modal, harmonic or transient to analyse piezoelectric components.
For an example, see the Ansys help manual, and the technology demo or showcase called : Wire Bonding with Ultrasonic Transducer
All the best
