      Is it possible to replicate a scenario where we determine the force needed to move one component atop another when their connection relies on friction rather than adhesion?

      Hello Syed,

      This kind of Dynamic analysis is currently not possible in Ansys Discovery. We recommed trying other Ansys simulation tools, such as Ansys Mechanical for such simulation.
