Simulating gas flow through a pipeline

      Hi,

I'm trying to find the velocity of an object inside a natural gas pipeline .Which model should i consider (k-epsilon or k - omega)& in solver steady or transient

It depends on some more information: whether the flow behavior shows a transient pattern or not. If the starting conditions do not depend on time give it a try with pressure based coupled solver + steady + pseudo-transient+ SST model for turbulence.
